Local weather 1, and weather guessers zero....

5:35 am - Tuesday - July 22nd - LPG&RVR - 49° F, humidity 44%, wind 1 mph out of the south by southeast.....crystal clear, blue, sunny skies today with a forecast high of 82° F.  On this date in 2021 TLE and I were enjoying another Seal Rock, OR sunset....

.....all of these sunset pictures I have posted over the last few years were taken from our site at Seal Rocks RV Cove (10 miles south of Newport).  One of the most amazing 'IT FACTOR' places at which we have worked!

Monday was almost as unbusy as Sunday was, mostly because there was a forecast of rain for a few hours (56%) that morning.  I initially staged 5 Yamaha gassers, but by noon time when it became apparent it wasn't going to rain, we rented another 4, or 5.  Nevertheless, it was a slow day golf wise, but not work wise.  I spent a good portion of the morning using a Stihl string trimmer down at the 'Night Office', along the back-in site row (RV sites 11-20, and tent sites 1-3), around the restroom, around a few of the pull through sites 1-10, and around the small gazebo before hanging it up to begin clearing balls from the driving range.

There were more balls than I was expecting on the driving range, but not the most I have ever seen.  In all I collected 15 gallons of balls (3 five gallon buckets).  I was only able to clear the far side of the driving range (on the far side of the creek which divides it) before lunch, so I had to finish quickly after TLE's lunch break as Dewayne was ready to mow around 1:30 pm.  I finished just before 1:30 pm, and DeWayne followed shortly thereafter.

After lunch I did a lot mowing with the 2 bag Husqvarna which included the small gazebo, the parking lot grass, the grass area by site #30, the group fire pit grass, and numerous pull through sites before it was time to clean the first 5 Yamaha gassers we rented early in the morning.  The ones we rented after 12 pm did not return until after 5 pm.  I was off work by 3:30 pm.

For the first time in a few weeks no air conditioning was necessary inside the Newell, and it looks as if Tuesday will be more of the same.  In fact, it will not get back into the 90's until Thursday, but it will drop back into the low 80's within a couple of days, so that is a nice development weatherwise.  TLE was home by 5:20 pm, and another LPG&RVR work day was in the books.

Thanks for stopping by!
