OK, well, I wasn't totally lazy today. I did FINALLY finish washing the coach.....you will remember I had washed the front, back, and driver's side a week ago, but never quite got to the passenger side until this morning. And once I was in the washing mood I just moved my act over to the trailer and gave it a good washing, also. The last time it got washed was just before we left Spokane about 6 weeks ago.
The weather has actually been warming up the past 5 days, and by the time I finished washing the trailer, and put everything away I was hot and sweaty......that humidity thing is always lurking in the background, and with a little rise in the temperature it rears its ugly head, and I start sweating......you would think I'm talking about 90-100 degrees, right? No, I'm talking about 78 degrees.....lol....I am a wimp when it comes to humidity, and I freely admit it. Anyway, I finished my work for the day around 11am, and hit the shower to cool down, and get ready to watch the PGA Championship final round.
In addition to the PGA there were some last gasp Olympic gold medal events, which I watched, too. I watched a great men's volleyball final between Russia and Brazil. Russia was down 2 sets to none, and at match point for Brazil in the third set when Russia staged a comeback, and ended up winning that set, plus the next two to upset Brazil. Way to go Ruskies!
Later around 8pm we moved outside for another portable fireplace fire, and watched as the stars came out in force.
We'll be changing our view in a few days.....Wednesday to be specific, so it is time to start putting stuff away in preparation for departure day. Our next destination is Vancouver, WA where we will be visiting friends from our college days, and doing more site seeing around Vancouver and Portland, which is just across the Columbia River from Vancouver. It's not long until we will begin moving more rapidly to the east.
That was our day.....nothing spectacular, just living.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Thanksgiving!
