Through a knot hole backwards......

I first heard someone use this expression to describe their state of mind after an all nighter in college back in the late 60's.  I don't know if this descriptive is, or was native to the East Texas area I was inhabiting at the time, but I loved it the first time I heard it, and have continued to use it, when appropriate, ever since.  After 50 hours over 5 days at Amazon, plus having been physically in "that building" 11 straight days I felt that way.

We arose a little after Noon time to a warm, windy day with occasional rain showers.  It was a good day to be inside watching the NFL, and taking long naps, which is what I mostly did all day.  After 3 long naps, and another 9 hours of sleep last night I am happy to report that I feel more like myself.

The following pictures are of the inside of one of Amazon's warehouses.  This is not ours, but ours looks very, very similar.

Typically books, DVD's, and sundry items

A "palletized" area

One of the multi level areas....usually 4 stories high

A friend (thank you Don) just sent me some pictures from an article he read on Amazon warehouses.  Yep, this is what they look like.  This is not our Amazon building, but they are all pretty much the same inside.  These pictures do not really convey the real enormity of what it looks like inside, but you get an idea.

More naps today....back to work tomorrow (Tuesday)  night at 5:30pm!

Thanks for stopping by!
