After driving close to 450 miles to Los Algodones and back Tuesday, and being somewhat 'rung out' by the unexpected events that transpired I slept in until 0800 Wednesday.....I probably could have turned over one more time and slept until 0900, but that is not me.......once the sun is up and I know it's up I have to get up.....I don't like burning daylight......especially morning daylight. The morning is my favorite time of day, and I don't like to shorten it by getting up too late.
Once the blog was written I was outside dumping the gray and black tanks using the macerator pumps, and by the time I finished it was noon time......time for our daily walk. We've been walking at least 3 miles pretty much every day lately, so we decided to change our route and add a 4th mile. On our way back we stopped at Smart & Final to pick up a few things and were back home by 1330. Surprising how just increasing our mileage by 1/3 was so noticeable in how I felt at the end.......tired and ready for a nap.....:-)
And that was pretty much our day.......after a nap I spent the rest of the day reading and relaxing along with TLE.....around 1730 I turned on the Sea-B-Que and grilled some pollo asado for TLE. While I was doing that I did something I haven't done for a long time......had a couple fingers of Scotch (with 2 ice cubes) and smoked a cigar....a nice way to end the day....a nice way to end any day.
Stay tuned for a couple of installments written by TLE.....she felt inspired and created some content for me.....coming tomorrow: "TLE's thoughts on Rving - Part I".
Thanks for stopping by!
