One more day.....

Tuesday dawned......get ready.....CLEAR!  The first clear day in a week.  A bi-product of no clouds is very cool temperatures in the mid 40's at 7am.  Since Tuesday was moving day we got up around 6:30am to begin preparations  for departure, and because we were going to have breakfast with Creig and Heather at the local Slinger's Cafe in House Springs.  After a nice breakfast we headed back to the coach to begin the extraction from Creig's property.  Fortunately we were able to turn around and get back up on Missouri MM eastbound for I-55.

The drive over to I-55 was smooth, and soon we were headed northeast toward I-64 eastbound.  Initially, our goal was to drive as far as the Evansville, Indiana area of I-64.  Shortly after we merged on to I-64 it began to rain, and rain, and rain.  We pulled into a couple of rest areas to take breaks from the rain, but ultimately it abated, and as we came even with the Evansville turnoff, we decided to keep on truckin' to Louisville, or close to Louisville.

As we cruised along we began to notice a lot of Fall colors appearing in the local foliage.  At our last rest stop we decided to call it a day in a small town called Corydon, Indiana where two of our favorite overnight spots exist right next to each other.....Cracker Barrel and Super Walmart.  Since the Walmart was right next to the Cracker Barrel we chose to park in the much larger parking lot, and just walk over in the morning to Cracker Barrel for breakfast.  We arrived at exit 105 around 4:30 and quickly found our spot for the night.

We have one more day before we park our "home" in one place for about 9 weeks.  We are excited about our temporary jobs at Amazon, and anxious to get through orientation and to work.

Tomorrow Amazon!  Thanks for stopping by!
