Where did it go?

7:39 am - Tuesday - June 15th - Seal Rock, OR - 54° F, 94% humidity, wind 3 mph out of the south by southeast......heavy overcast today with a forecast high of 60° F, and a slight chance of rain later this morning.  On this date in 2016  TLE flew down to Ontario, CA from Reno, NV to see her new granddaughter, Jolene Rose........↴

I started out Monday working with Terry to remove part of a fallen tree from the roadway up near the barn.  It was a tree from our property, therefore, our responsibility.  I utilized the pole saw to cut branches which protruded into the street, but we decided the rest of it would have to be cut up and removed by professionals.....it was just too big for our skillset.

From there I teamed up with Fred to begin installing more of the indoor/outdoor carpeting.  I had cut out a piece for the men's restroom entrance a while back, so we took that piece and dry fitted it into the space before applying the mastic to the concrete surface and them installing the piece permanently.  The concrete deck which connects the two restrooms was still too wet from the weekend rain, so we headed over to the office to install another piece which Fred and Terry had cut to size a few weeks ago.  We had to cut out a piece to fit around a post which supports the cover over the entry way, and then we applied more mastic to the concrete deck and installed that piece.

Once the office piece was installed we headed back to the restroom to see if the deck was dry yet, and it was not, so we put away our tools, and called it a day....and what a long day it was....my wristwatch read 2:15 pm....it did not seem like four hours had passed.

By the time we finished the skies had cleared, and it turned out to be a nice afternoon.  TLE was already home from her 4 hour shift (11 am to 2 pm) when I arrived.  After some ice coffee and a short nap I headed outside to take advantage of the sunny weather to attempt to repair a couple of strings of outdoor lights which had been extinguished by the 24 hour storm over the weekend.  I managed to revive one of the strings, but the other was DOA.

When I reentered the coach TLE was preparing dinner....it was almost 5 pm....where did that day go?
