I'm alive! I'm alive! I'm alive!!!!
Friday saw a big improvement in my health, and my outlook has improved considerably! It rained most of Thursday night, and with the dawn came gloomy skies, but I felt so much better after another good night's sleep. In spite of feeling so much better I decided to stay inside all day watching the Masters. Didn't want to take any chances of a relapse.
Even though I felt so much better TLE and I made the decision to stay put here at Robert Newlon Airpark through Monday morning, so late in the day she went over to the office and paid for 3 more days. This, of course, will have some impact on our travel plans the next 4 weeks......uh, well, now 3 weeks, since we spent an extra week in Huntington due to my illness. We are scheduled to arrive in Indianapolis May 6th, but we both think we have enough time to see D.C. and still maintain our leisurely travel pace.
We watched the Masters until almost 7 pm....yes, I said "we".......I think my wife had as much fun watching as I did. I am always surprised by my wife, and that is one of the things that keeps our relationship interesting and feeling new. Just based on comments she made over the course of the afternoon about different players, and their shots, I had to conclude she has been paying more attention over the years as I have watched golf, than I thought.
Looking forward to watching more Masters golf Saturday, and my continued recovery. Learned a piece of bad news this morning.....apparently Kobe Bryant (Lakers) tore his achilles tendon in last night's game......if so, that probably ends the Lakers chances of making the playoffs....even if they made it, what chance would they have in the playoffs without Kobe, who has almost single handedly kept them in the race for the 8th playoff spot in the west the past few weeks.
Thanks for stopping by!
