Small projects day.....

7:31 am - Thursday - December 11th - TWW - 32° F, humidity 30%, wind 7 mph out of the east by southeast.....cloudy today with a forecast high of 59° F.  On this date in 2021 TLE and I visited Agua Caliente Hot Springs to soak in their hot springs....

We knew we had mail in our Seligman mailbox, and we had used about all of one of the 5 gallon propane bottles running our Predator 5000 dual fuel generator, so we decided to head into Seligman around 10 am Wednesday to pickup our mail, and get the propane bottle refilled.  I really wanted to know how accurate the propane gauge was.  It was showing we had about a gallon left in the bottle.  Sure enough, when the propane guy refilled the bottle it took 3.3 gallons, meaning there was a little over 1 gallon left, so it is pretty accurate, and it had better be at what we paid for it.....$50....ouch!

We were in and out of town, and back at TWW in about 90 minutes, and then it was time to work on the projects  for which I bought the 4' x 8' piece of 1/2" plywood on Monday.  I cut one piece to install on the table which holds the drill press, and then I wanted to build a 'shelter' for the new Predator 5000 out of what was left to keep it out of the weather as much as possible.....

....I only put a top on it, and two sides so the exhaust can be vented, while keeping the generator mostly out of the weather.  The generator is made to be used in an outdoor environment, so I'm not too concerned with it getting a little rain, or snow on it, but I want to keep that to a minimum.....

The 1/2" plywood installed on the table for the drill press

.....both projects turned out well, and by 2:30 pm I was done for the day.

TLE made meat loaf for dinner with sides of broccoli and a corn dish.  That woman can cook!....

....please accept my apologies for the lateness of this blog post.  I was in the middle of composing it when the propane guys showed up this (Thursday) morning, and I never got back to finish it until this evening (6 pm).  A lot was accomplished Thursday, so be sure to stop by tomorrow morning to find out what was done!

Thanks, nevertheless, for stopping by!
