Almost post apocalyptic......

7:34 am - Saturday - March 14th - Wittmann, AZ - 50° F, 89% humidity, wind 4 mph out of the east by northeast......mostly blue skies this morning (finally), with a forecast high today of 66° F.  The view this morning.......↴

And Friday the monsoons continued......

.....when we got a short break in the weather around 10 am TLE and I jumped into our bathing suits and into the Jacuzzi here at Tom and Darlene's home.  They had gone up to their cabin in Northern Arizona for a few days, and we had the place all to ourselves.  The whole area in which we are living right now has this almost 'post apocalyptic' feel to it.....very weird feeling.  We had washers and dryers going in the Newell House (big barn in the above picture) as well as in Tom and Darlene's home trying to catch up on 12 days of laundry.  They keep the temp in the Jacuzzi at 104° F, which is perfect......

....we had barely returned to the Newell to change into dry clothes when the skies opened once again, this time with a little hail, lightning and thunder for good measure, but eventually the rain gave way to clearing skies....

 Clearing skies?

 The big Jacuzzi

......with nothing else better to do we binge watched a Netflix series entitled 'Jennifer Jones'.....there are three seasons in the 'can', as it were, and we watched season one (13 episodes).  This is a very dark Marvel series, but very intriguing.  Lots of violence, no frontal nudity, but there is strong language.  For those wondering about our progress watching 'Outlander' we have finished the fourth season.  The fifth season is underway, and I think there are 5, or 6 episodes, which we will begin to watch at some point in the next week, or two.

It was a lazy day spent mostly inside, but the clearing skies provided a beautiful sunset.....

.....and that was our Friday.  Still healthy, no symptoms of you know what, and enjoying life....thanks for stopping by!
