TVC - Day 95 - 12 Wednesdays

As I write this morning I suddenly realized that we only have two Wednesdays remaining in our time here at Tahoe Valley Campground, and South Lake Tahoe before we roll our wheels once again.....we have been here for 12 Wednesdays, six of which have been pay days.  Our coffers are full, and we are looking forward to changing our view once again.

Workwise at TVC it was a pretty normal day......not much to report....we took delivery of 4 new golf cart tires of which two went on the front of the office golf cart to replace to balding, leaking tires......had to ask tenters twice not to run their 100' extension cord into the women's bathroom......received further claims of a continuously barking dog in site 385, which was investigated once again.  I spent 15 minutes parked across the street from the site observing the two dogs in question and never heard a peep....I then drove by the site every 30 minutes the rest of my shift....no barking.  I then, after I was off work went by the site every hour until 2200 hours and not a peep.  Maybe the complaining customer is hearing barking dogs in his head along with the other voices......very odd.

TLE and I clocked out just after 1600 hours once again......we both logged over 46 hours each for the week.  We sat outside the rest of the afternoon, and well into the evening.  I roasted some corn on the cob on our Sea-B-Que BBQ for TLE while she whipped up a chicken/vegetable risotto.  I started a fire, and we ate our dinner sitting by the fire chatting for a couple of hours...something we have not had a lot of time to do lately....a perfect way to end a long work week.
