6:29 am - Tuesday - September 12th - 42° F, humidity 82%, wind 1 mph out of the north northeast......no clouds in Moose,  WY.

I felt 100% better Monday morning.....our plans before I got tonsillitus were to drive down towards Jackson  Hole,  WY to see the Grand Tetons, and to visit my sister Hilary,  and her husband,  Bob who were staying at a dude ranch for a few days.  When I got sick there was some doubt if I would be up to the trip, but based on how I was feeling Monday it was a go.  (Editor's note: If I seem a little cryptic this morning it is because I am composing my latest missive on my phone.)

We stopped off at the Lake Hotel and General Store on our way south.......

.....including our 30 minute stop at the Lake Hotel, it took us 5 hours to reach Moose, WY....traffic wasn't really bad,  but when the maximum speed limit is mostly 25-45 mph it takes a while to drive 150 miles!

We arrived at the dude ranch around 3 pm, and had a lovely afternoon with Bob and Hilary. Around 7 pm we walked up to the lodge for a sumptuous beef tenderloin  dinner, then retired to the front porch to watch the sun setting behind the iconic Tetons.....
