Rained last night
There is an old park model out in the storage yard that has been sitting there unused for years.....how many years now one seems to know. At any rate the owner donated this trailer to one of our long time employees who is going to place it on a lot about a mile from the RV park within the next couple of weeks, so we needed to clear a lot of stuff out from underneath it so it could be moved. That task fell to me Wednesday.
After opening the storage yard, pool/playground and Clubhouse I headed back to the storage yard to begin removing years of stuff that had been stored underneath, and on both sides of the park model. I wish I had taken a before picture, but those I did take should paint the picture pretty clearly....there was a lot of stuff.......
⇧ -Most of the neatly stacked wood here......
.....used to be lying in a heap here

Everything here.....⇧
.....used to be there in a big heap under the trailer.....⇧
Everything on the pallets.....⇧

in front of the park model.....⇧
All clear underneath now, and ready to move!
......I began working about 9:30 am, and finished just after 3 pm. It's the kind of job I love. I just took my time moving one thing at a time. It was quite overcast, and very cold Wednesday morning, so I began the task wearing a jacket and a watch cap, but ended up with just a t-shirt, and a watch cap. Loading all of the landscape masonry onto pallets was quite a task, but in the end I got it done with time to spare.
I spent the last hour of my workday with the backpack Stihl blower clearing leaves from the entrance to the park. Soon it was 4 pm and time retrieve TLE from the office and head for home. I'll be off work until next Wednesday having my cataract surgery and recovering from the same. TLE will probably go back to work on Sunday whilst I am recovery mode. We head up to Rancho Cucamonga on Thursday to spend the night at my oldest son's home. My surgery is scheduled between 5:30 and 8 am Friday, and I should get the exact time sometime Thursday afternoon.
