Masterful....

7:29 am - Saturday - April 12th - TWW - 63° F, humidity 17%, wind 9 mph out of the south.....partly cloudy today with a forecast high of 81° F.  On this date in 2012 TLE and I were at Red Gate RV Park near Savannah, GA....

....we were dry camping in a large field near the regular RV sites.  We had the whole field to ourselves.  The view this morning.....

When Masters weekend rolls around each year life pretty much stops for TLE and I.  We spend hours watching wall to wall coverage of each of the four rounds, and Friday was no exception, except we did take about an hour in the morning before it got warm to install all of the brown, horizontal closure pieces in preparation for installing the balance of the roof panels, then installed two more panels leaving just 16 to go....

.....amazingly we had just enough of the closure pieces to complete the job with two pieces (they are about 24" long) left over.  I thought, for sure, we would need to call Charles and Phyllis and have them buy some more.  Now that they are installed the final installation of the remaining 16 panels, and the ridge cap pieces can be done, and should not take too long.

We spent the balance of the morning watching 'The Masters Invitational' before getting dressed to drive into Seligman to retrieve some packages from our mail box.  From there we headed to the laundromat where I dropped off TLE, and then headed to the General Store to buy some hardware items.  By the time I returned the wash was almost done (we take the clothes home to dry them in the dryer in the house), so I helped TLE fold everything so nothing would get wrinkled before we got them in the dryer at home.

While the clothes were going through the wash cycle, and I was at the General Store, TLE walked next door to Seligman Market to buy some produce.  Once the wash was done we headed to Family Dollar, and then to 'Road Kill Cafe' for our last lunch in Seligman until next winter.  We went there because they have TV's with 'The Masters' playing so we wouldn't miss too many holes.  The food, as always, was exceptional.

We were home just before Scottie Scheffler finished his round, and then watched another hour, or so, until everyone had finished their rounds.  At the end of the day Justin Rose in in first place at 8 under par, with a host of 'who's who' in the golf world close behind.  Should be a great weekend!

Thanks for stopping by!
