Rapport.....

8:11 am - Tuesday - August 19th - LPG&RVR - 56° F, humidity 22%, ZERO mph out of the southeast.....crystal clear, blue sunny skies today with a forecast high of 87° F.  On this date in 2016 TLE and I were having dinner at Gomez' at Mammoth Mountain Village.....

.....Cadillac Margaritas for all!

Monday was a beautiful with balmy breezes.  The kind of day which would normally find me ensconced in my anti gravity chair on the 'lido deck' taking a nap, and just relaxing, however, that was not to be my fate on this day.  I haven't washed the Newell since we arrived here at LPG&RVR back in late April, and for the past few weeks I've been noticing how neglected she appears every time I walk to our Club Car Villager #20, so first Monday morning, around 9:30 am, I headed outdoors to do just that.  It didn't take long to restore a smile to her face, but that was not the end of it for me.  I had promised Tom I'd help him wash a few months of Alaska and British Columbia grime off the exterior of his Freightliner chassis based 2014 Haulmark motorhome.  His motorhome has a lot more square footage of siding to wash than our 1982 Newell Classic, and it took us the better part of 90 minutes to get her done, but when we finished she looked much, much better and definitely passed the 10 foot test.....

......once that was done we headed inside to cool down, have a cold soft drink, and talk, which we did until after noon time.  I headed home to take a nap, while TLE remained behind to play 'Phase 10' with Darlene.

A little after 3 pm we all hopped in the 4 seat Club Car Villager #20 and took a tour around the RV park, and golf course.....

.....Tom took a lot of pictures of the golf course, of which you have already seen many pictures, but I did save this one of us in the Club Car.....one of my favorites of us together.

After the tour we dropped Tom and Darlene off at their coach, and headed back to our Newell so TLE could finish the dinner prep which for spaghetti with a side salad, after which we headed back to the Haulmark around 5:50 pm.  Once again TLE hit it out of the park!  By the time we finished eating accompanied by non stop conversation I was ready to head home just before 8 pm for the day, but TLE once again remained behind to play another game of 'Phase 10' with Darlene.  By the way, she lost the morning game by just 15 points, but won the evening rematch by 500 points.  She led the first match until the very end when Darlene overcame her lead.

Monday was a great day spent with good friends, and I do mean GOOD friends.  The kind of friends where you may not see each other for over a year, and then pick up where you left off just as if no time had passed.  We all have the kind of rapport that you rarely find in life, but treasure when you do.

Thanks for stopping by!
