We awoke to a steady rain, and that was the story of Thanksgiving day in Ontario, CA.....slow, steady rain all the day long. We spent the morning lazing around with Tim, Laila and Crosby, watched most of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade out of NYC, watched a little NFL football, and were on our way to the home of Nick (son-in-law) and Kate (middle daughter) around 2 pm for Thanksgiving dinner. We were joined there by Rod (son-in-law), Sharon (youngest daughter), and their son Brayden, as well as my oldest daughter Meredith, along with Jack and Nancy (Nick's parents), Aly (Nick's sister), Jonathan (Aly's signficant other), Jennifer (Laila's mother), and additional friends and family from Nick and Aly's side of the family too numerous to name. In all I think there we more than 30 people by the time dinner was served.......
Meredith, Jennifer and Sharon
Jolene & Brayden
Sharon, Brayden and Rod
Charlise, Jolene, Nick, Kate & Elijah
......of course, there was more food than 100 guests could have eaten, but that is one of the charms of Thanksgiving.....there will be turkey sandwiches for a week, along with mashed potatoes, pies, cranberry sauce, and no one will go hungry.
As we were arriving home just before 6 pm it was still raining......kind of reminds me of our time in Campbellsville, KY at Amazon this time last year. It seemed like it rained every day we were there.
Thanks for stopping by!

Too much food is a good problem to have at Thanksgiving dinner!
