And we're done.....

7:56 am - Wednesday - November 10th - Fontana, CA - 55° F, 74% humidity, wind 2 mph out of the northeast....partly cloudy skies today with a forecast high of 82° F.  On this date in 2012 we were in Campbellsville, KY working at Amazon.....on this particular night we had a fire......↴

At long last we have finished sorting, and sifting through our warehouse 'stuff'.....all the storage containers are gone courtesy of my son, Tim, who agreed to take them, and use them.....

Before.....

After....

.....and there is now enough room in the trailer for the bikes.  Once both of the tables are gone it will be quite roomy again.....certainly more roomy than when we arrived here in Fontana.....

.....we drove down to my son's home around noon time to deliver the storage containers, and spent some time holding Bowie Mae.  She is just about 10 days old now....it seems longer than that since she was born.  Mother and father are doing well, but they could use a little more sleep.....lol.

On our way home we stopped off at Home Depot to look at some new window coverings for the Newell, then at COSTCO to buy a few things, and were home by 2 pm.

It feels like we have just finished a long distance race, crossing the finish line in victory. We got it done by breaking the stuff down into smaller, more manageable piles......2+ weeks of sorting things into keep, toss, sell, and donate 'piles'. We now know what we have left is what we want and/or need.  We have made peace with our decisions, and can move forward knowing everything we own is now in one place.  Of course, we no longer have the luxury of deferring difficult decisions by storing things in the warehouse until a later date.  Future decisions will have to be made on the spot, as there is only so much room.  Of course, the trailer gives us the option of carrying more than most people.  The things we carry with us make us happy, and make our lives more enjoyable.  There remains a small pile of the 'donate' variety, and that pile will be delivered to the local Goodwill Wednesday.

Thanks for stopping by!
