52.......

Tuesday marked the end of 52 months of full time living in our Newell on the road.....as I reflect back upon those 52 months it seems as if this is what we have always been doing.....imagining living in a sticks and bricks home as we did for decades seems so foreign to me now.  We continue to love this lifestyle and cannot imagine doing anything else.

I promised pictures of the re-tiled showers for those who may be familiar with  TVC.....we had wanted to get this done before last summer but ran out of time getting the new toilets and sinks installed......now the restrooms in E and A are 'new' once again.......

All new shower heads and valves

.....everything in the showers was taken down to the 'studs'.....you could see from the men's showers into the women's showers.....

As is always the case after a long weekend the campground is now a ghost town.....once again the departure list was longer than the list of who is in the park.....we are once again down to a single page of current customers.  The next couple of weeks will see us continue full speed to finish all the remaining projects before the 4th of July weekend.

After having trouble with campers walking through our site this past weekend I decided to put up a temporary fence, and I had the time late Tuesday to do just that......

......I think it will do the job while be unobtrusive.......

We were off work a little after 4 pm, and by a quarter til 5 we were on our way walking over to Classic Cue for some of their amazing Fish Tacos chased with a pitcher of Payback Porter.....

......a nice way to unwind at the end of the day.   Since we are currently in the middle of 8 straight days of work we thought it would be nice to split it up with a date night.  Previously, as you know, our days off were Thursday and Friday, but we decided it would work better for us and TVC if we changed those days to Sunday and Monday, which are much less busy days, and be on duty on Thursday and Friday which are much busier.

We arrived back at the coach around 6 and sat outside until the mosquitoes chased us inside.....this was the first time in our three summers here that I remember that happening.  TLE says it has happened before, but apparently she was the one getting bit then, and not me.  Usually I am the one the mosquitoes are attacking, but for some reason they leave me alone here at TVC.

Thanks for stopping by!
