I can see clearly now.....

7:57 am - Thursday - November 19th - Seal Rock, OR - 43° F, 93% humidity, wind 5 mph out of the south by southeast.....mostly clear right now with a forecast high of 52° F.  We'll be working today!  On this date in 2015 we enjoyed our 8th consecutive sunset at Rincon Parkway, just north of Ventura, CA........↴

No too surprisingly.....duh.....I was called off work due to rain Wednesday.  TLE, however, reported for her regular 2 hour shift at 10 am.  It does look like I will be working Thursday as there is no rain forecast, and I'm pretty sure that two hour shift will consist of raking up all the storm debris from the past week.  We continued to have very windy conditions until early afternoon, then about 3 pm it stopped raining.  Around 4 pm the cloud cover began to break apart, and we actually saw the sun for about 20 minutes around 4:30 pm as it slipped toward the western horizon.

I spent some time in the trailer taking care of some housekeeping stuff, but spent the better part of the day reading.  It appears we are in for a few days of only partly cloudy skies with no forecast of rain, or wind.....just in time for our 'weekend' (Friday and Saturday)!  I'll leave you with this Johnny Nash song from 1972.......

"I can see clearly now....."
