The Christmas wreath.......

7:57 am - Tuesday - November 24th - Seal Rock, OR - 37° F, 100% humidity, wind 3 mph out of the southeast......mostly cloudy today with a forecast of rain later, and a high of 52° F.  On this date in 2016 we were celebrating Thanksgiving at the home of our son, Tim, and his future wife, Laila.......↴

The forecast rain came around 1 am, and it continued as arose to greet the new day.  By 8:30 am I had received a text from Terry that there would be no work shift for moi Monday.  We had a couple of recorded English Premier soccer matches in the queue, so we played one of them to kick off another rainy Monday.  Mid morning Terry knocked on our door to deliver a Christmas wreath provided by the owners of SRRVC, Bill and Tina Brown......

.....they are wonderful owners.....since we arrived I have received a $75 gift card for my birthday, another $25 gift card for Thanksgiving, and now this very nice Christmas wreath.  They are by and far the best RV park owners for whom we have worked.

TLE was off to work at 2 pm for her regular Monday 2 hour shift.  I went to the post office to pick up one package, whilst UPS delivered another package to the wrong address in Seal Rock.  Fortunately the person who received it recognized the name Seal Rocks RV Cove, so called the office to give directions to her home.  I drove the two blocks over and retrieved it.  Another package came to the post office later, and was picked up by Terry and Michele.  Two of the packages were my new 26' telescoping flag pole, and new solar flag light...........

.....so we now have a flag flying once again.....next up was the new Porter-Cable battery powered angle grinder with cutting wheels, which uses the same battery as my Porter-Cable impact driver......

.....and, finally, a second 12 volt dual fan.  The one we bought to help keep the rear window dryer works so well we got one for the front windshield......

......so, while TLE was at work I was opening boxes.....a nice afternoon to be sure.  TLE was home at 4 pm, and within 40 minutes the sun had set, and darkness was once again reclaiming Coastal Oregon.

Thanks for stopping by!
