Table topics.....

7:48 am - Tuesday - December 8th - Seal Rock, OR - 46° F, 82% humidity, wind - CALM.....cloudy today with rain forecast for later today, and a high of 55° F.  On this date in 2014 we arrived home (Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, NV) from our night time Amazon gig in Fernley, NV to find the sun rising.....↴

There was a small threat of rain Monday, but it never materialized.  I spent half my two hour shift helping Terry transplant three escallonia bushes to site B-2, and then another hour scrapping flaking paint off one of our many picnic tables in preparation for repainting it.  There are 50+ picnic tables which need attention, and when the weather allows over the next few months we will get to all of them.  As with most painting projects, 90% of the work is the preparation....it took me just shy of an hour to prepare the table for paint, and then it was time to clean up, cover the table with a tarp to keep it from getting wet overnight, and head for home.  Hopefully, I'll be able to paint it Tuesday if the weather holds.

I spent the rest of the day reading, and staying warm.  TLE worked an hour in the office Monday, but it was pretty quiet.  When we first arrived here at SRRVC she was working more hours than I, but the tables have turned and I am now the bread winner again.  Combined we are working 15-18 hours per week right now as 2020 grinds to an end.  The park is mostly empty, as expected, so there is not much reservation, or customer service work to be done in the office.  No complaints here, though....this is exactly what we wanted this winter.

We picked up another London Broil from Ray's in Waldport the other day, and Monday was the designated day to grill it.  I pulled the Sea-B-Que out of the trailer around 5 pm, and by 5:30 pm the deed was done.  These London Broils are good for several meals, which makes them very economical, and they are oh so tasty!

We took a night off from TV and read until about 10 pm before heading off to dreamland once again.....thanks for stopping by!
