Lopsided.....

7:31 am - Monday - February 10th - TWW - 33° F, humidity 34%, wind 6 mph out of the southeast.....partly cloudy skies today with a forecast high of 60° F.  On this date in 2012 I had just finished, with a lot of help from Tom McCloud, replacing all six MAC leveling valves in the right rear engine bay compartment.  Tom took a picture before we took it all apart to guide us when we put it back together....

Before disassembly....

....after reassembly

.....before we replaced all six MAC valves we would lose all of our air pressure within 40 minutes of turning off the motor.  Now, 13 years later, the system still holds its air pressure for weeks at a time.

Sunday was Super Bowl Sunday featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.  They met in Super Bowl 57 where the Chiefs came out victorious, so this was not only a game in which the Chiefs might become the first NFL team to 'threepeat', but beat the Eagles for the second time in 3 years.

With my back steadily improving I decided to take Sunday off from any work, and TLE and I took a 1.5 mile walk instead.  The last time we walked the snow was just melting, and we came back a muddy mess.  However, when you get lots of sun like we do here at TWW the muddy red clay dries out quickly, and we had no such issues Sunday....

Nice and dry!!

....we covered the 1.53 miles in a tad over 28 minutes averaging around 3.1 mph for this first, official out and back walk.  We've been a little remiss in doing our walking this winter, but we do walk an awful lot every day around the property here at TWW.  I'm pretty sure I'm getting 10,000 steps in most days.  Even though we didn't walk until around 10 am, it was still pretty chilly as you can tell by our attire.  The view this morning (Monday).....

Around 11 am we turned on the PGA Phoenix Open, which we watched until almost 4 pm, when we changed channels to FOX to watch this year's incarnation of the Super Bowl, officially dubbed Super Bowl LIX (59).  While we were rooting for the Eagles this year, what we really wished for was a close game.  Of course, the only time you don't want a close game is if 'your' team is winning....then you want a blowout, and that is what we got.  By half time it was 24-0 in favor of the Eagles.  I think the Chiefs had only managed to generate around 30 yards in offense at that point, while giving up two interceptions, and 14 points to the Eagles.  At one point in the 2nd half it was 34-0, and it wasn't really even that close.  By the end of the 3rd quarter I think it was 34-6, with the final score being 40-22.  The Chiefs scored 16 points in the 4th quarter when the game was essentially out of reach for them, and it was one of the most lopsided Super Bowls in recent memory.  The Chiefs fans began to exit the building in droves at the end of the 3rd quarter. Patrick Mahomes was sacked at least 6 times in the game....one sack shy of the record.  Jalen Hurts, the Eagles quarterback, was the MPV of the game, and rightly so.

The half time show, for me, was not very interesting....mostly 'hip hop', rap kind of stuff, which is not my genre.  We thought some of the commercials were hilarious, especially the Stella Atrois commercial featuring David Beckham and Matt Damon.  Seeing the new commercials advertisers roll out each year at the Super Bowl is one of the highlights for us, and this year's crop was especially good.

Last year I rooted for the Kansas City Chiefs, and they won a close game over the 49ers.....25-22, decided in overtime.  It was a great game.  Thankfully I was on the winning side in this year's lopsided affair, otherwise I would have lost interest pretty quickly!

Thanks for stopping by!
