6:05 am - Tuesday - July 12th - Likely, CA - 60° F, 43% humidity, wind - calm out of the east......partly cloudy today with a forecast high of 98° F.....the high temp for this week....I hope. On this date in....well, I'll have to forego that this morning as I'll be leaving for work shortly.
Essentially Monday was a typical Monday.....I cleared the driving range of golf balls, washed them, and poured them back into the large 55 gallon trash can in the Clubhouse for future rental. Six golf carts awaited me in the 'Cart Return' area so I washed them quickly, then staged 15 carts once again. We ended up renting 16 altogether, and by 3:30 pm I had all but 4 returned.
The forecast high for Monday was 95, but it only got to 94° F....every degree is important, right? I was home right at 3:30 pm, and cooling down in the Newell interior. I turned on the A/C after I finished my half hour lunch, and it was nice to return 2.5 hours later to a very comfortable environment.
That's pretty much it...I wish there were more, but I want to get to work at 6:30 am today, so I can be off work by 3 pm just as the temperature hits its high for the day. While I am acclimating to the hotter temps, I still get uncomfortable when it gets much over 90, and today will be our hottest day since our arrival.
