A winter's day.....

6:12 am - Sunday - Cinco de Mayo - LPG&RVR - 30° F, humidity 82%, wind 8 mph out of the west by northwest.....heavy cloud cover this morning, with snow coming mid morning, and for today a forecast high of 40° F coming around 5 pm....lol!  On this date in 2018 TLE and I were touring Niagara Falls.....

Saturday was a work day, and we were up around 6 am, but I knew I would not be working much that day as rain was forecast all day long, becoming snow in the evening, and that is what happened.  TLE and I both reported for work at the usual 7:45 am, and by 8 am it was raining.  I hung around for about an hour before heading home until TLE's 12 pm lunch break....

....it was still raining steadily at 10:23 am, and extremely windy with sustained winds over 20 mph, and occasional gusts to 40 mph....sounds like a winter's day to me.....

....it was bitter cold outside all day.  I returned to the Clubhouse to give TLE her lunch break around 11:45 am, and she was gone by 11:50 am.  The hour passed quickly, and soon I was back home in the warm confines of our Newell for another 4 hours.  I returned to the Clubhouse around 4:30 pm to help TLE close for the day.  I did the vacuuming for her, and turned out the lights and locked one of the doors before heading down to the 'Night Registration Office' to flip the sign, and post the available sites for the night.  We have only had one, or two walkups this season after 5 pm, and did not expect any on this frigid, snowy, breezy evening.

The forecast snow came sometime during the night, but was only a 'dusting', as they say, but some of it has stuck, and it is still bitter cold as I write, plus there is still snow in today's (Sunday) forecast by mid morning, so I do not think I will be working much today, either.

Thanks for stopping by!
