The rain, the park, and other things........

7:44 am - Monday - October 12th - Seal Rock, OR - 55° F, 94% humidity, wind - CALM.....mostly cloudy today with a forecast high of 60° F......60% chance of rain today.  On this date in 2015 we were having lunch at Wenatchee Brewing Company in Wenatchee, WA.....↴

The Rain, the Park, and other things....Cowsills, 1967

Sunday began with rain, and both TLE and I thought I would not be working long, but as it turned out it was just light enough that I was able to spend 1.5 hours outside weed whacking until the rain became too hard, and then another hour in the landscape shed, and bathroom supplies room organizing things so they are easier to find.  That is one of my favorite rainy day things to do.  On the weed whacking front I was finally able to weed whack our site (A-3) and the one next to us (A-2), and now they look much more presentable.

A-2 looks good!

Just about the time I got home (12:30 pm) it began to rain in earnest, and continued raining pretty hard the rest of the day precluding any outdoor activities, at least for those of us who do not wish to become soaking wet.  TLE worked two hours in the morning in the office, and then returned at 2 pm for another 3 hours.  She is working about twice as many hours as I am, but it is mostly!

I passed the afternoon hours watching PGA golf, and a couple of movies plus read for a while and took a nap.  Upon TLE's return from her afternoon toils we commenced our happy hour sipping dirty martinis and listening to the rain on the roof.

Thanks for stopping by!
