Construction detail.....

7:38 am - Thursday - May 20th - Seal Rock, OR - 43° F, 93% humidity, wind - zero mph out of the north....sunny this morning after rain all night!  Forecast high for today is 54° F.  On this date in 2014 we awoke to snow in South Lake Tahoe, CA......↴

It was back to Fairwinds Wednesday morning to do construction cleanup.  Terry and I hauled away all of the old decking we had removed from the deck a couple of weeks ago......

....which we hauled one trailer load at a time over to the burn pile area.  The deck is nearing completion, and the contractor felt he would be done by the end of the day.....

.....all that remains in the yard are the new materials yet to be used.....

......after handling every piece of scrap lumber twice, which I'm sure was over 1/2 ton in all, we called it a day just before 12:30 pm....one of my shorter days lately, but it was really too late to start another project.

TLE worked another split shift Tuesday so I saw her in between her morning and afternoon shifts.  While she was at work from 2-4 pm I deployed my final string of solar rope lights in one of the trees on our driver side.

I thought we were going to have a sunset, but clouds moved in just before sundown, so my sunset picture was taken just after the sun hit the clouds on the western horizon.....

....and thus ends another Coastal Oregon day....thanks for stopping by!
