Done......

7:43 am - Friday - May 21st - Seal Rock, OR - 48° F, 94% humidity, wind - zero mph out of the north.  Cloudy today with a forecast high of 54° F.  On this date in 2013 we were watching the sun rise at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway......↴

First thing Thursday morning Terry and I headed up to Fairwinds to see how the new deck was progressing, and were delighted to find it was done....I didn't think the contractor had enough time on Wednesday to finish it, but I was wrong.......

.....from there we headed to the landscape shed to pick up the pole trimmer, and hand trimmer to continue trimming hedges in the park.  On this day we tackled the four sided hedge around the sewage settling field (no odor whatsoever....seriously).  The last time we worked on this hedge it took us parts of three days to complete it, but now that the hard work has been done it took us two hours from beginning to end, including picking up the clippings.  It was another 2.25 hour day for me.

TLE worked another split shift, and things were so busy she worked three hours in the morning, and 3 hours in the afternoon....that's one of her longer days.  She was busy in the kitchen shortly after arriving home preparing a butter poached paddock (white fish), salad and mashed potatoes......

.....a great way to end the work week!

Having a viewable sunset was in doubt until the very end when a break in the clouds allowed us to see a bit of one.....

....I have written about the solar yard lights I deployed on the driver side of the Newell, so here is a short video showing what they look like.....

....we're off to Albany and Salem Friday morning so TLE can pick up her new eyewear, and I can get some lab work done for my upcoming audio/video cardiologist appointment next Tuesday....there will be a lot of driving!
