The Eve....

6:55 am - Christmas morning - December 25th - Anza Borrego Desert, CA - 44° F, 70% humidity, wind 3 mph out of the west by northwest......overcast this morning, but we did get a sunrise.....↴

.....we have a forecast high today of 64° F.  We'll be on our way into Ontario, CA to have Christmas with our kids in about an hour.  On this date in 2016 TLE and I were celebrating Christmas with our kids, grandkids, and great grandkids......

Christmas 2016

Christmas Eve was spent preparing for Christmas....TLE wrapped Christmas presents in the trailer on a table I set up for her.  She also spent part of the day preparing a scrumptious Christmas Eve dinner for us.  It rained on and off most of the morning, but we finally got some sun for a few hours before the cloud cover once again enveloped us, and I even had time to wipe down the VW after it received a thorough rinsing overnight.  Christmas music played in the background throughout the day as holiday cheer pervaded every nook and cranny of our boondock life.  After dinner we sat down to watch a couple of Hallmark Christmas movies, and Christmas Eve was a wrap.....

....we were treated to a subtle Christmas Eve sunset as we gave thanks for another year of being together, for our good health, and for the blessing of being able to share another Christmas Day with our family.  Family is everything, and we watch with pride as each year seems to bring another expansion to our growing numbers.  In 2021 we counted two more precious babies.....Levi (Nick and Kate), and Bowie (Tim and Laila)....the cycle of life continues unabated.....our numbers now include 10 grand children, and 2 great grand children.....our cup runneth over with peace, joy and glad tidings.

Merry Christmas to you wherever you may be found on this Christmas Day, 2021!  Thank you for stopping by!  Here's to a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy and prosperous New Year for you all!
