Never to young to start.....

7:33 am - Saturday - December 16th - GNHS - 45° F, humidity 72%, wind 5 mph out of the east.....cloudy skies today with a forecast high of 70° F.  On this date in 2016 TLE and I were walking along Mission Inn Blvd. in Riverside, CA enjoying the annual festival of lights......↴

Shortly after publishing my latest missive TLE and I took our third two mile out and back walk down Mineral Hot Spa Road.  It was another beautiful, crisp December morning.  We finished the walk in about 39 minutes....certainly not a record setting pace, but enjoyable nonetheless....

Our post walk usie

....after a suitable post walk cool down period I changed clothes and headed out to the trailer to complete the wiring project I began the day before.   It took a few hours, working on and off, to connect all the wiring, and test the concept, then 'button' everything up, but at the end of the day it all works as it should....

The 2 way, 3 position switch

The two 12 volt LED lights are working

And the Fantastic Fan is working for the first time in years!

.....by time I finished running the wiring over to the Bluetti, and vacuuming up some sawdust it was almost 4 pm, so I took a quick shower, then headed out to watch the Chocolates light up, and the sun set....

....even after the sun sets, the Chocolates are still beautiful....

.....for dinner we had a young couple (Zack and Chelsea from Colorado) that are working here in the park over for some of TLE's wonderful Lasagna.  They are just 25 years old, and have been enjoying the nomadic life for three years now.  We're always interested in hearing the story of young people who have decided to eschew the traditional workaday life, mortgage and 401k life for the adventure of the road.  They've been full timing now for 3 years, as I said, and love it.  Regretfully, I neglected to record the event with an usie.  Nevertheless, we enjoyed a few hours of great conversation and food.  By the time we bid them adieu it was after 9 pm!

Thanks for stopping by!
