7:19 am - Wednesday - December 6th - GNHS - 49° F, humidity 76%, wind 5 mph out of the east by southeast......crystal clear, blue, sunny skies today with a forecast high of 73° F. On this date in 2020 TLE and I were taking a walk on Seal Rock Beach (Oregon)......↴
I've made it a point to do more soaking in the hot pools/tubs this winter season at GNHS, and I was there again Tuesday morning around 9 am for another soak. The rejuvenating qualities of the mineral water here are remarkable. After soaking for 30 minutes in 106° F mineral water I feel like a new man!
A few months ago, before we left Northern California, I bought some orange, and green spray paint to freshen up our 'lido deck' tables and chairs, but had not gotten around to doing just that, so with no other pressing projects, I decided Tuesday would be the day to tackle that long delayed project. After sanding each table with a very fine grit sand paper I applied three coats of green paint, then a couple of clear coats to seal the paint, and give it a little UV protection. They turned out great....
Very green!
.....I spent the rest of Tuesday relaxing, and putting....in fact I did a lot of putting. TLE even joined me for a few competitive rounds, winning 2, tying one, and I won the other two. She's really improving!
There was no sunset fire Tuesday, but we did sit on the viewing deck to watch the mountains light up, and the sun set....
The Chocolates
One lone cloud in the sky
....and with that we bid adieu to another delightful GNHS day. Thanks for stopping by!
