The legend continues......

7:48 am - Saturday - September 21st - Ramona, CA - 50° F, 89% humidity, wind 5 mph out of the southeast......clear, sunny today with a forecast high of 88° F.

Friday was our short day (9 am to 1 pm), and I began my day at the pool doing a thorough cleaning for the weekend crowd......

.....by the time I finished washing the pool deck it was after 12 pm, and I still had to check and repair two toilets (cabin #98, and the Red Barn), rake the horseshoe pits, and blow the leaves off the mini golf course before I called it a day.  The two toilets were easy fixes....just a matter of reconnecting the flushing handles to the flappers.

By the time I arrived back at the office to put away my tools TLE was there waiting patiently for me to give her a lift home.  With her she had a box of items which had arrived from eBay and Amazon.  The eBay package contained my new Bob Marley flip flops....

.....after writing a week, or so ago about the demise of my 7 year old Bob Marley's Karen, a good friend, sent me an email advising she had seen some on eBay.  I was skeptical, but I went on eBay to check, and sure  enough there they were!  I quickly ordered a pair, and now the legend may continue.  That I am still able to find these flips flops all these years later is remarkable.....hence I remark.....😊

We spent the rest of the day sitting outside.....wait for it....wait for it.....reading and listening to music.  One of the other packages which arrived from Amazon contained three new 48' strings of rope lights.  Our old rope lights were about 2 years old, and had sections in which the lights no longer worked.  I spent about an hour late in the day pulling up the old rope lights, and laying down the new ones.

And there you have it.....another week has come and gone here at RORVR.  In just over a week we'll be entering October....where has the time gone?
