Wednesday......I'm sorry, that's the best I can do...lol.

6:27 am - Thursday - September 12th - Ramona, CA - 52° F, 86% humidity, wind - CALM.....clear, cool, blue skies this morning with a forecast high of 92° F.....wow, a 40° swing today!

Wednesday we continued to work on leveling sites 72 and 73.....72 (my site) being mostly done, but the leveling on 73 just beginning with the hauling of 18 buckets of dirt to the site to make it more level.  I did my usual stuff for the first two hours, and then joined Dave, who was hauling the dirt using the Kubota loader, answering a few of his questions about site #73 before heading back to the mini golf area to individually sweep each green as I do once a week.

I took lunch with TLE at 12:30 pm returning at 1 pm for my final two hours of labor on Wednesday.  About once a month we have to fill the chlorine tank in each pump house with 28 gallons of water and 4 gallons of chlorine.  Each time the pumps run a calibrated machine slowly feeds a small dose of chlorine into the water being pumped to the large water tank on the hill.  The last time I recharged the chlorine tank I noticed how dirty the interiors of the pump houses were, so I determined to, at some point in the future, take our large RIGID™ shop vacuum and vacuum out each building, and then wipe down all of the surfaces.  It took me about 1 hour per pump house, but I got them done just after 3 pm.

TLE arrived home shortly after 4 pm and we both retired to the 'lido' deck to read, and enjoy some music for the remainder of the afternoon.  Nice to be able to sit outside in the afternoon again!  By 6 pm it had cooled off significantly so we headed inside for the duration of the evening.  If only every day could have a high of 80° F......what a pleasant day, afternoon and evening.

We now close the park at 8 pm (winter hours), so we are usually done with that by 8:20 pm at the latest, and I am now able to hit the slumber sack at 9 pm, as I prefer.  I will not miss the 9:30 pm closings.  It did not appear that any of our facilities were used Wednesday (pool, mini golf, horseshoes, pool table, etc.), which is a sign the Fall/Winter season is upon us.
