Laid back affair......

7:31 am - Monday - August 16th - Seal Rock, OR - 59° F, 84% humidity, wind - CALM....heavy marine layer today with a chance of rain tonight....forecast high today is 64° F.  On this date in 2014 TLE and I were enjoying some brews and dinner at Sidellis Brewery and Restaurant in South Lake Tahoe, CA......↴

.....and on this date one year ago we were staying on the property of long time friends Bob and Karen near Coupeville, WA (Whidbey Island)....

There were no special projects Sunday so I worked by myself scraping picnic tables for most of my two hour shift, then doing site checks.  The weather continued to be heavily overcast, but warm.  I felt over dressed wearing a long sleeve shirt, and shorts.  Sundays, as I have oft written, are typically laid back affairs, and this Sunday was no different.  We are at 100% occupancy meaning there is not much to do, but there are always a slew of folks departing back to their workaday lives, and on this Sunday there were 10.  By 1 pm those same sites would be reoccupied.

After work I returned to the roof of the Newell to finish scraping off the lap sealant residue I mentioned in yesterday's missive, plus some old pine tree sap.  When that sap gets really old it gets brittle and is much easier to remove.  Once that task was completed I lowered all four solar panels into their normal flat travel mode positions.  In all I was up there over an hour, and now the roof looks as good as it has in years.

I watched the last part of the final round of the current PGA tour event (Wyndham Championship), which also happened to be the last regular season tour event.  At the end of regulation there were 6 golfers tied for first place......by the end of the second playoff hole Kevin Kisner stood alone atop the leader board by carding a birdie.  Next weekend begins the FedEx playoffs featuring the top 125 golfers in 2021.  Over the course of three weekends that number will be slowly whittled down to the FedEx champion for this year.
