The sixth time......

07:18 am - Tuesday - May 3rd - Likely, CA - 31° F, 82% humidity, wind 4 mph out of the north by northwest......cloudy this morning....clearing later....forecast high today is 62° F.  On this date in 2018 TLE and I were in Ashtabula, OH having a late lunch at Briquettes Smokehouse....↴

The forecast for Monday was pretty strong that we would have rain, and or snow before 9 am, and we got it all....rain, snow, sleet, hail....in a three hour period.....this marks the 6th time it has snowed since we arrived on April 12th, but the first time it has not stuck to the ground....it, however, did stick to the trailer, the artificial turf, and the patio awning......

.....we had pretty much written off Monday as a day to do anything outdoors, or any exploring, and had decided to just stay home, stay dry, and stay warm.  We did take a 1.25 walk around 12 pm when the skies had ceased dropping moisture in all its various aforementioned forms.  As the storm passed the wind velocity increased, and the temperatures plummeted continuing to make it undesirable to be outside for very very long.

I did, however, manage to get out to the trailer for a couple of hours to work on some projects, including the second repair of the flat tire on one of the rental bikes.  Apparently there were two holes within a 1/2" of each other, and I missed one of them, so I applied a second patch, reinstalled the tube inside the tire, and then inflated it.  I left the pump attached to the Schrader valve stem for a few hours to see if the PSI decreased, and it did not, so I'm hoping it is fixed now.

I spent the balance of the afternoon catching up on the various YouTube channels to which I subscribe, and threw in at least one nice nap for good measure. Just after we had dinner TLE suddenly asked me to close the curtain on the passenger side window next to my recliner as the setting sun was getting in her eyes.....wait, what.....a sunset is occurring and I'm not out there to memorialize it?  I glanced out the window to see we were getting a nice sunset, so I quickly hit the 'pause' button on the remote, and headed outside.....

......not the most amazing sunset ever, but certainly the best sunset we have had since we arrived.
