24/7.....

8:41 am - Friday - April 2nd - Seal Rock, OR - 43° F, 87% humidity, wind - zero mph  out of the north.....partly cloudy today with NO rain in the forecast, and a high of 52° F.  On this date in 2020 the biggest things on our minds were not catching the Wuhan Flu, and scoring Kleenex, and Charmin, and we did at the COSTCO in Peoria, AZ.......↴

....now one year later we never caught the Wuhan Flu, are no longer afraid of catching the Wuhan Flu, and Kleenex, and Charmin are readily available in any grocery store large, or small.  Then we didn't know any better, but now we do......the views this morning around our campsite.......

The view from the 'lido deck' this morning

Everything is soooo dry right now....cool!

No dew on the Beetle

My wood gathering skills have not
diminished....I hope there will be a fire tonight!

Thursday, as you know, is our 'Friday' each week.....the last day of a 'grueling' work week....l0l.  For the first time in a few months I actually worked 10 hours for the week, two weeks in succession.  There has not been any measurable rainfall in four days, and if the forecast is correct there will be no rain until Sunday, or Monday.  The 15 day forecast shows NO rain for 8, or 9 of those days......we have definitely turned the corner.....I think....we'll see.

For work Blake and I moved two newly painted picnic tables to sites 7, and 19, and retrieved the tables from those two sites to scrape down, and paint in the near future.  We have now painted around 10 tables, and have about that many to go.  We also pulled some weeds which had sprung up in the gravel at the sewage settling area just up the hill from the WDS plant, and finished off the two hour shift by scraping down those two picnic tables we moved from sites 7, and 19.  I'm sure they will get painted in the next few days.

Life is good here in Seal Rock, OR, and we continue to appreciate the beauty we are surrounded by 24/7, especially now that the rainy days are becoming fewer, and farther in between.
