63° F.........

7:47 am - Thursday - April 1st - Seal Rock, OR - 43° F, 100% humidity, wind - zero mph out of the north.....cloudy today with a forecast high of 51° F.  On this date in 2012 we were in Stuart, FL courtesy parking at the home of our good friend Ernie.......↴

.....can't believe it is April 1st already.......

....and I'm not foolin'......

Wednesday, the very last day of March, I returned to the site 14 & 15 project of spreading gravel in each site.  Originally the idea was just to cover over the low spots in each site where water would collect after a rain, but it was decided to just cover each site completely to make them look more uniform. Initially I figured it would be about a 1 hour job, but it ended up taking my entire two hour shift to finish the job with the Massey-Ferguson front loader.  TLE worked her two hour shift from 10 am to 12 pm, also, and reported a very busy day on the phone with customers.

The weather was just spectacular Wednesday.....not a cloud in the sky, and the temp reached all the way up to 63° F.....by, and far the warmest day in a couple of months.  I am hoping this is a sign of more warm days to come in the not too distant future. After work I spent a couple of hours in the trailer moving things around, putting things away, and then vacuuming the entire trailer front to back for the first time in since early February.  Then I did something I have not done for quite a long time.....I sat down in of our new Adirondack chairs on the 'lido deck' to soak up some vitamin D for about 30 minutes before the cool breezes chased me back inside.  TLE even came out and joined me for a few minutes.  I think we are going to enjoy these new chairs a lot this summer! And to think......in all of that I completely forgot to take even one picture.  Nevertheless, it was a good day to be alive on the Oregon Coast.
