Back to our routine.....

6:53 am - Tuesday - August 20th - LPG&RVR - 46° F, humidity 47%, wind 2 mph out of the east by southeast....partially cloudy today (NO SMOKE!) with a forecast high of 82° F. On this date in 2011 TLE and I took a 45 mile bicycle ride on our one of a kind Cannondale Tandem....we sold it 3 years ago to give it new life.....we kind of miss it.....

Our route

....but we were just not riding it enough to justify hauling it around the country in our trailer, and mechanical things need to be used, and appreciated.

We began the morning portion of the first of four non-workdays with a 2 mile out and back walk....my knee did not bother me at all!  We managed to up our average speed to 3.2 mph finishing in 37 minutes and 57 seconds.  The PT I am doing for my knee is really working....

....for the first time in 2 months I had to wear a vest....look how long those early morning shadows are!

After returning to the Newell we spent about an hour on the 'lido deck' enjoying our coffees, and the early morning coolness before I headed into the trailer to do my toning exercises, which were followed by my PT exercises for my knee. Speaking of 'coolness' we haven't run the A/C for 4 days now....that is really a nice change!

I've been meaning to bring my golf clubs/cart bag home to go through all the pockets, and winnow down the number of golf balls, and other golf related paraphernalia I carry, to only the matte green and red (Chrome Soft & Super Soft) Callaway balls I prefer.  I also had a lot of tees I will never use, so I disposed of them, too. By the time I finished the bag was a few pounds lighter.  And with that exercise complete I had almost accomplished all that I wished on Monday.  I had wanted to play golf early afternoon, but the winds freshened, so I decided to just take a couple of naps and enjoy the afternoon by catching up on the numerous YouTube channels to which I am subscribed.

The weather outlook continues to trend toward Fall conditions as evidenced by the following 10 day forecast.....

....there will be a few warm days, but mostly temps in the low 80's, and even into the 50's for one day with a few lows in the 30's, plus possible rain this Saturday....yup, Fall is on the way here in the Pitt River Valley.

Thanks for stopping by!
