Alarming......

Tuesday we were on fumigation watch......the termite guys gave us a 5 hour window in which they would arrive....8 am to 1 pm......so TLE and I just hung out waiting for them to arrive.....of course, they arrived just after 1 pm......

.....by that time it was getting quite warm (mid 90's) so we closed all the windows and turned on the rear A/C.  I've never watched a house in the process of being 'tented', so it was kind of interesting to watch the FOUR HOUR process.......kind of like watching ice melt.

Around 4:30 pm we decided to walk over to Tio's Tacos for perhaps our last 'Taco Tuesday' experience.......Tio's is open 7 days a week at 8 am, and so 'Taco Tuesday' also begins at 8 am.  Tio's is exactly a 1 mile walk from the coach and it took us just under 20 minutes to arrive......

.....I love all of the unusual 'sculptures'......in this case a living palm tree has been turned into a giant sculpture......

I had never noticed before that they used a tire as an earring......lol!

I am a happy guy.....3 tacos and a Negra Modelo

As we always do, we sat outside enjoying the ambiance.....

We arrived back home around 6:15, and had to turn the A/C back on as it was still 90 degrees!  Finally about 8 pm we were able to turn off the A/C and open the windows, however, we discovered that one of the smoke/CO2 alarms in the house had been set off by the fumigation and so the rest of the evening, and all night long we were serenaded by three beeps.....a pause.......three beeps......a pause......and it continues as I write......:-(  Since the alarm is INSIDE the tented house there is nothing we can do until the tent comes down Thursday.

Thanks for stopping by!
