Two for the price of one.....

7:39 am - Thursday - June 3rd - Seal Rock, OR - 60° F, 100% humidity, wind - zero mph out of the north.....heavy marine layer this morning, but clearing towards the afternoon.  On this date in 2012 TLE and I were riding our bikes near Spokane Falls in Spokane, WA.....↴

It has become apparent to me that I will not get caught up with my blog posts as I continue to be two days behind, so I am going to combine Tuesday and Wednesday into one post, and thus become caught up once again.

Tuesday saw us returning to our Coastal Oregon routine.  The weather was spectacular with nary a cloud to mar the beautiful blue sky.  This view is what I love.....sunny, cloudy, or rainy, but especially when the sky is blue....

.....Tuesday was pretty routine for me.  I spent a couple of hours cutting a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet to fit the entry to the women's bathroom, and about half an hour doing site checks with Terry.  After all of the travel, socializing, four takeoffs, and four landings, then just shy of 300 miles of driving round trip I was especially tired as I walked back up the hill around 12:30 pm.

After a bite to eat, and and a nap I spent the afternoon, while TLE was at work, fiddling around in the trailer.  It became apparent we might have some sort of sunset Tuesday evening, and we did.....

.....Wednesday dawned with a very heavy marine layer, and you could see the moisture in the air as the fog rolled in and out.  I spent about 1/2 hour doing some final adjustments on the carpet piece I worked on Tuesday, then another 1/2 hour weed whacking along the 'EXIT' road before returning to my favorite activity....spreading gravel with the Massey Ferguson loader.  Wednesday's site was #20 over in the cul-de-sac......

Weed whacking along Seal Rock Street....our EXIT is just behind me

.....I spent the final 2.5 hours of my shift hauling and spreading 7 bucket loads of gravel to bring this very unlevel site to level status.

After putting the loader back in the barn, I headed for home.  On this day the black tank was in serious need of my attention, and it has been a while since I washed the coach.  Taking care of both those tasks took me until just before 4 pm....I was just finishing up when I spied TLE walking up the driveway to our site.  We haven't walked our loop in while, so I changed clothes and we took off up NW Cross Street.....

.....in all we covered just .7 miles.....we've got to start walking it twice to get over 1 mile, right? Just as we returned to site A-2 the fog was rolling in again, and the park became shrouded in mist.

There....I am now in a caught up status once again......thanks for stopping by!
