Tuesday was a stay at home day, but we did head into town around 8:30 am to do our weekly shopping at Stater Brothers.....so much better shopping in the morning.....much shorter checkout lines for sure! By the time we got home it was closing in on 10 am, and time to dump the black tank before the sun got to the driver's side of the Newell where most of the dumping activity takes place. We turned on the A/C as soon as we got home, and then while TLE began to put away the groceries I took care of the dumping.
It took me about 30 minutes to dump, and sanitize the black tank for another week's effluent, and then I spent the better portion of the rest of the day indoors avoiding the high temps. A good way to do that is to turn on and watch the recorded 16th Stage of Le Tour, and that took several hours. After State 16 there are just 5 stages left.....they will finish, as always, in Paris on Sunday. Hard to believe we are over two weeks into this year's installment.
For dinner TLE made her now world famous 'Chicken Marsala' once again, and this time it was even better than last time, and I thought last time was one of the best I had ever had. You can tell TLE is enjoying her job, and her time here at RORVR because she is taking time to make some amazing dinners the last few weeks.
We listened to Pandora's Sam Cooke channel, and I want to leave you with this YouTube video of a song we heard last night by Etta James called "I'd rather be blind...."....amazing song!
Thanks for stopping by!
