Sunday had that warm feel to it from the very beginning. The forecast high for Sunday was 89° F, and I think it got up to 90, or 91°. Sunday is the day I do a thorough cleaning of the pool, and this Sunday was no exception. After 3 days of heavy use it needed a good scrubbing and vacuuming. All of that took me right up to my 11:30 am lunchtime (we get off at 2 pm on Sundays).
After lunch I had just 2 hours of my work day remaining so I headed to the maintenance building to continue working my project. Surprisingly I finished a little after 1 pm; I thought it might last longer......
All the fasteners are now in identical containers with labels.....
Easy to read labels make finding the correct fastener easier now!
....TLE and I had talked about paying a visit to the local micro brewery in Ramona which is only open Thursday through Sunday each week. After taking a shower we headed into town to check out 'Smoking Cannon Brewery', which has a number of very tasty offerings. You can do a flight of six 4 ounce brews for $10.....
....we quickly made our choices and headed for our table. They do not sell, or prepare food on site, but there is a Mexican restaurant directly next door where you can order food and take it over to the brewery. I chose to just buy some Planters peanuts on this day to accompany our brews.......
......a great way to end our work week......after tasting six of their brews I settled on their Ice Cream Sundae Ale.....it tasted nothing like ice cream, but I like it a lot. TLE chose the Chili Ale and loved it, also. We sat talking about this and that for about an hour both mentioning how we loved the ambiance of this little brewery.....a perfect place to hang out at the end of another work week. Yelp gives them 4.5 stars on 38 reviews....we would be around 4.0.
We were home by 4 pm relaxing into the evening.....another day lived well.....life is good!
