I woke up the first time at 9:15, thought about getting up, but then the next thing I knew it was after 11 and coming up on half time for the early NFL games. I managed to pry myself out of bed, pour a cup of coffee, and turn on the game (Chargers vs. Ravens) which had the Chargers down 10 just before half time. I am rarely for the Chargers, but this day I was. Ultimately the Chargers came from behind to win the game by 1 point for the upset win. Most Sundays it is rare if I'm right 2 out of the 3 televised games.......when Denver won, on the road, in Kansas City, in the Sunday night game I was 3 for 3. The middle game, Green Bay vs. New England was also a nail biter, but was won by Green Bay.
While all this football fun was going on TLE went out, hoping to beat the rain, to do a big grocery shopping......she didn't beat the rain. While she was gone I decided to surprise her by cleaning up the coach.....you know.....wash the dishes and put them away so there would be room for her to put the grocery bags on the counter instead of the floor, make the bed, empty the trash cans, dump the coffee grounds (I hate that), and take a shower.....well, the shower wouldn't surprise her....I take one every day.
The rain came about 2 pm and stayed with us for about 3 hours.....a nice, gentle drizzle.....just like I like it. So, there I am sitting in our nice, warm, dry coach listening to rain on the aluminum roof, and watching three NFL games in which the team I was rooting for won, and there was NO work until Monday night.....come on man....it can't get much better than that, can it?
The temp barely got out of the 30's Sunday, but it never got much colder over night. After the Broncos' game we watched 'The Mentalist', 'Resurrection', and 'CSI', then read for a while before going to bed around 2 am.....still trying to stay on our work schedule.
Thanks for stopping by!
