The vision.....

5:49 am - Tuesday - 32º F, 85% humidity, wind 5 mph out of the south.....cloudy.....it will rain today......forecast high is 46º F.

Monday was the second of our two days off.....I had modest plans......workout in the morning, tune up Victor's Specialized full suspension 29er mountain bike, reorganize the trailer, go to a movie, and cap it all off with an early dinner and brews at Sidellis Lake Tahoe.

To begin the day TLE and I went to KMART to pick up a new folding table to put our Sea-B-Que on during our stay here at TVC.....we found a nice table with adjustable height (2' x 4') on sale for $32, and were back home by 10 am.

Now that's the ticket.....

I spent the next hour, or more moving things around in the trailer to make more room, and to make it more functional......

.......I know it looks crowded, but I usually roll a few of the bikes outside when I am working inside, plus the chairs are usually outside, but it's going to rain, so they're inside.  By the time I finished tuning up Victor's MTB it was closing in on 2 pm, and that was our departure time to drive over to the Heavenly Village Theater to see 'Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 2' at 2:30.  When the first one came out we didn't see it until it came out on Netflix, and we loved that one, so we were determined to see Volume 2 on the big screen, and we are glad we did.  It's hard not to sing a long to the great music, much of it from the 60's and 70's.

We headed directly from the movie to Sidellis Lake Tahoe Brewing Company around 5 pm.....this is our favorite local micro brewery, and we frequent this 'off the beaten path' eatery/brewery several times each summer.....we have never been disappointed.....

......I ordered a pint of Petey's Porter and TLE had a pint of Cluanie Farmhouse Ale....we split a French Dip.   The food is very consistent at Sidellis, and so is the beer....we sat at our usual table in the corner when we eat inside.....just too cold to sit outside in the Beer Garden.

Stopped by El Dorado Beach again to take a picture of the beach/swimming area.....wow the lake is so high now the beach has almost disappeared......last summer the water was at least 100' from the concrete steps.....now it is within 10 feet.....

.....this dock was high and dry last summer.....we were home by 6:30 with smiles on our faces.....a very nice day that turned out just as I envisioned it would!

Thanks for stopping by!
