TVC - Day 56 - Happy 239th Birthday USA!!

We only had 36 arrivals Saturday, July 4th, but the 'damage' was already done....

.....the beginning of our annual July 4th decorated bike parade..........

.....the park is full to overflowing......listen, this kind of crowd is not my favorite scenario, but I enjoy thoroughly the smiles, the 99.9% happy people, the celebration....all of it.  As I rambled around the campground in my golf cart more times than I can remember I snapped a few pictures of the various patriotic displays....some extravagant, some muted.....

There were, however, several thunder showers that rolled through town over the course of the day, but that did not even put a slight dent in the mood of our customers......

Not my picture, obviously, but a good representation of the fireworks show put on at Stateline last night.

.....by the time TLE and I called it a day at 3:30 we were 'fried'.......we had just finished 8 days straight on the 'firing line' and have 4 to go before our next day off.  We were just getting into bed when we heard the fireworks show begin......I am sure it was as amazing as ever......
